Alex Skinner

Alex Skinner

 

Alex is a Senior Manager in the VAT group.  She has a large portfolio of clients and advises on a wide range of different VAT issues.  She is particularly experienced in dealing with property issues, international activities, group reorganisations, due diligence work, partial exemption and not-for-profit work.   She is also interested in environmental taxes such as Aggregates Levy, Landfill Tax and Climate Change Levy.   

Alex joined a large firm of accountants upon leaving University.  She spent the first 7 years of her career advising on direct taxes before moving into VAT full-time in 1996.   Since then Alex has continued to develop her expertise in a practice environment and frequently gives talks on VAT issues as part of internal and external training seminars.
