We agree. Litigation over financial disputes can be costly and protracted – and organisations are increasingly seeking alternative methods of resolving disputes. Our team can help in several ways:
- Settlement negotiations: We provide expert advisory support on negotiations and mediations. This may include assessing the potential value of a claim, helping you and your legal team to draft letters and/or mediation submissions and attending negotiation meetings/mediations to support you and liaise with opposing experts.
- Mediation: We also provide mediation services, acting as an independent facilitator to bring parties together, helping them to reach a binding settlement they can all live with. Our mediators are registered with leading mediation bodies including CEDR and CORE. Expert determination: our role is to act as decision maker, by assessing the opposing arguments and providing a binding decision as to how the dispute should be resolved.
We understand the value of non-adversarial approaches, and have the experience and interpersonal skills to guide parties through these processes successfully.
