BDO named ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year’

BDO LLP has been named the ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year’ at the M&A Awards 2012 for the second year in succession. Also shortlisted were competitors Baker Tilly, Grant Thornton, Smith & Williamson, PKF and Crowe Clark Whitehill. 

The M&A Awards 2012 celebrates the achievements of management teams, advisers and financiers who, over the past 12 months, have surmounted extraordinary market conditions to demonstrate their deal making excellence.

BDO Corporate Finance has advised a number of noteworthy clients through significant transactions over the past year, including:

• CPA Global on its sale to Cinven
• Audley travel on its sale to Equistone
• Everest’s £25m acquisition by Better Capital
• SPP Process Technology Systems’ $200m Sale
