BDO opens Corporate Finance office in Dubai

BDO, the UK member firm of the 5th largest global accountancy network BDO International, has today announced the opening of a new corporate finance office in Dubai to act as a hub for corporate finance and restructuring advisory work in the Middle East.

BDO Corporate Finance (Middle East) LLP, a wholly owned subsidiary of BDO LLP, will focus on building relationships with and working alongside regional family offices, institutional investors and businesses as well as helping UK businesses who want to break into the Middle East.

BDO Corporate Finance is based in the Dubai International Financial Centre, is authorised and regulated by the Dubai FSA and is headed up by Jon Breach, Corporate Finance Partner, who has relocated from the London corporate finance team of BDO, together with a team of specialists.

Jon Breach, Lead Partner of BDO Corporate Finance (Middle East) LLP, said: “Over the last few years, we have seen a rising trend in Middle Eastern investors wanting to acquire assets in the UK and internationally and we have been working with them from London, tapping into the skills of our colleagues in other BDO offices in the region. However, having experts on the ground with specialist knowledge will provide a better service to our clients, which is why we have opened the dedicated regional office. This market will continue to grow in importance as an international source of capital and the opportunity for us is very exciting.
