Leading accountants expand courtwork service in the North

Leading accountants and business advisers BDO has strengthened its team in Leeds with the appointment of two individuals to head-up and develop the National Courtwork Strategy for the North.

Susan Berry, director, and Patricia O’Reilly, assistant manager, join the Leeds office, based at Bridgewater Place, from Kroll where they previously worked together. Their new role sees them developing BDO’s Courtwork offering in the North, which entails building on their existing contacts, making new contacts and winning new courtwork appointments, such as bankruptcies and compulsory liquidations.

Commenting on her appointment, Sue said: “Both Patricia and I are delighted to have joined the BDO team in Leeds, and we look forward to really growing the business through our contacts and presence in the marketplace. The National Courtwork Strategy has been spearheaded through its centre of specialisation in Gatwick and our appointment will now build on the success of the strategy in the South, by providing our clients with a real national offering with the new centre in the North.”

Ian Beaumont, managing partner of BDO based in Leeds, said: “We are delighted to welcome Sue and Patricia to the team to spearhead our expansion of this service. They both bring a great deal of experience and expertise to the National Courtwork Strategy team, and it’s great to have them on board to really develop our offering.”
