BDO LLP undertakes new IFRS 7 survey

BDO LLP have undertaken a survey which looks at how a selection of FTSE 100-350 companies with December 2007 year ends have applied the disclosure requirements of International Financial Reporting Standard 7 ‘Financial Instruments: Disclosure’ (IFRS 7).

This survey is intended to assist companies that will be applying IFRS 7 for the second time in the forthcoming reporting season, and those which are adopting it for the first time. The publication highlights how the standard has been applied in practice and identifies where companies might enhance the quality of their IFRS 7 disclosures.
