Guidance for Foundation Trust Governors

The Health and Social Care Act will result in fundamental changes to the way the NHS commissions services and provides healthcare. It will also change Monitor's role as a regulator and proposes changes to the governance arrangements for Foundation Trusts, increasing the responsibility of the Council of Governors in important areas.
