Current role

Philipp is a transaction services partner in the London corporate finance team with over 15 years' experience leading due diligence projects with particular emphasis on cross-border, large and/or complex transactions. He specialises in acquisition/merger due diligence, IPOs and other public company transactions. His experience spans a range of sectors including real estate, technology and emerging markets.

Experience

Philipp qualified with the firm before spending two years in the Paris office and then joined corporate finance becoming a partner in 2002. He ran BDO’s Public Sector advisory practice from 2009 through 2011, servicing central & local government, the NHS, education and emergency services, where he led topical reviews for the BBC Trust and the FSA. He speaks fluent French.

• Clinisys Group – £61m IBO funded by ECI Partners
• Countrywide – £1bn recommended cash and share offer by Apollo Group
