Biography

Current role

Philipp heads up our Public Sector practice which provides assurance and advisory services across central & local government, the NHS, higher education and emergency service sectors. He is responsible for the firm’s membership of the Buying Solutions’ Management Consultancy and Accountancy (MCAS) and BBC consultancy services frameworks. Clients include the BBC and FSA.

Experience

Philipp qualified with the firm before spending two years in the Paris office. He then joined corporate finance becoming a partner in 2002. He specialised in transaction services in the London corporate finance team before assuming his current role. He has extensive experience of due diligence and capital markets transactions, notably in the real estate sector.

Recent advisory experience:

• Clinisys Group – £61m IBO funded by ECI Partners
• Countrywide – £1bn recommended cash and share offer by Apollo Group
• Derwent London – £1bn acquisition of London Merchant Securities
• F&C REIT Asset Management – merger with F&C Asset Management (combined assets under management £8.5bn)
