Ann has specialised in forensic accountancy since 1990 and has experience in a wide range of forensic work.
Ann is a member of the Academy of Experts and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She is on the joint ICAEW/ Academy of Experts Register of Accredited Accountant Expert Witnesses.
After qualifying, she gained experience of forensic accounting, working on a wide variety of assignments including personal injury, loss of profits claims and business valuations.
At BDO, Ann’s experience has included regulatory, contentious insolvency and other investigations, valuation of shareholdings in private companies, a wide range of commercial litigation cases and criminal defence and proceeds of crime work.
Ann has given evidence on a number of occasions. Ann has also given seminars on forensic accounting topics to groups of solicitors and has been a regular presenter of the BPP forensic accounting course which is compulsory for barristers in the first years of practice.
