Would you like to generate financial gains from your electricity consumption? Feed in Tariff Seminar

On 28 September BDO are hosting a breakfast seminar on the Feed-in Tariff scheme and how it could benefit you. The government-backed scheme, launched in April 2010, is part of a range of measures to achieve the government's target of 15 per cent of UK energy from renewable sources by 2020. Businesses investing in renewable energy schemes will receive a return on their investment of between 8-12 per cent plus free electricity depending on the type of technology used (e.g. solar, biomass, wind) and the location of their property.

At the seminar we will cover:

• An overview of the scheme and how it works
• Capital allowances and tax structuring
• Funding options

Who should attend?

• Owners and occupiers of property in the South with large roof spaces (where solar panels can be easily retro-fitted)
• Owners and occupiers of property with sites lending themselves well to wind or hydro technologies
• High emitters of electricity where heat-based technologies can be installed
