Technical and Risk Management Update Breakfast Seminar

BDO are holding a free and informative technical and risk management update breakfast seminar on Tuesday 12 October 2010 at our offices in Spinningfields, Manchester city centre.

The focus will be on topical issues including:

  • The future of UK GAAP and other accounting developments
  • Financial reporting themes including FRRP activity
  • Tax themes including HMRC activity and managing tax risk
  • "The Forgotten Tax" - Customs Duty and the common pitfalls
  • iXBRL - What to do and when
  • Bribery Act - The impact and what this means for you.

We are fortunate to have internal and external experts in their fields covering each topic, including experience of working directly for HMRC.

This event is designed primarily for financial directors, financial controllers and chief financial officers.

The event will begin with breakfast and registration from 7.45am. The presentations will commence at 8.00am and will end no later than 10.00am.
