BDO LLP, together with DLA Piper, are hosting an inaugural in house leaders forum on Wednesday 29 August 2012.
Cloud Computing is not new on the business agenda. Large organisations and in-house counsel are very much at the heart of the debate on whether the benefits of adopting the cloud outweigh the business risks.
In financial services, the social and commercial risks of going ‘to the cloud’ are even more heightened, with considerations of financial data security, ownership of data and multi-jurisdictional information treaties keeping in-house counsel awake at night. What will the market look like in the next 3-5 years or 5-10 years for those organisations who go to the cloud versus those who don’t? Is this a paradigm shift in the way we do business and will it be unavoidable?
Speaking at the forum we have Jonathan Dickson who is Senior Legal Counsel at Barclays and Rory Colfer CEO from Molten Technologies. BDO’s Merryck Lowe, together with DLA Piper’s Mark O’Conor are the hosts for the working breakfast.
