HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has warned online retailers that are not up-to-date with their tax affairs that they only have one week left to register to the e-Markets Disclosure Facility.

Head of HMRC campaigns Marian Wilson asserted that her organisation intends to make it as easy as possible for firms to contact HMRC in order to resolve any tax issues.
"If you owe tax and don't get in contact, do not assume that HMRC will not catch up with you soon. It's better to come to us before we come to you," Ms Wilson commented.
